General Compute Raises $100M Series A

Co-led by Blackbird and Abstract, the round supports our inference cloud for ultra-fast tokens.

We've raised $100M in Series A funding, co-led by Blackbird and Abstract, with participation from Fuse Venture Partners, Village Global, and others.

We're building the inference cloud for ultra-fast tokens. We finance, deploy, and operate GPUs and purpose-built inference chips from Cerebras, SambaNova, and Positron AI, matching workloads to the hardware that runs them best. Customers get dedicated bare metal or a guaranteed tokens-per-second SLA without having to procure or manage the infrastructure themselves.

Our first major deployments go live in Q1 2027, with more than 50 MW of capacity in the pipeline. The round builds on our previously announced $400M debt facility from Upper90 and our partnerships with frontier chipmakers.

Thank you to our investors, partners, customers, and team for helping us bring faster inference to more companies.
